The Sport classification was
added to the Reno National Championship Air Races in 1998. This particular classification is comprised
of Experimental Homebuilt aircraft powered by a reciprocating engine of 650
cubic inches or less. There are several
types that are popular at Reno. This classification seems to bring in all types of designs and is really exciting to watch.
